Sical has exclusive possession of the berth Jawaharlal Dock V on lease for a period of 20 years. It has a capacity of 4 million tons per annum. This serves to nullify pre-berthing delays through berthing on arrival and in turn leads to decrease in turnaround time.
The terminal conducts round the clock environment friendly operations. It is also equipped with dedicated handling equipments to achieve higher discharge rates. Sical has in place an efficient and a well qualified team of personnel to overlook the operations to ensure smooth functioning of port activities.

Road and Rail Support
The terminal is supported with excellent road connectivity. To increase performance and avoid unnecessary delays in rail dispatches, Sical has access to rail siding that is capable of handling four rakes in a day.
IT Advantage
With the intention of deriving the maximum benefits offered by information technology, Sical has put in motion many processes. Sical has initiated EDI connectivity with Customs and Banks. A portal has also been launched to help the port users execute their port activities online.
